Italy VISA information
We kindly invite you to ask for a short term TRAVEL VISA for turistic/study or educational purposes. (NOT Business Visa)
If you need an invitation letter, please contact us by email (ATTENTION: from August 1st to August 27th the secretariat will offer only limited assistance). In order to get the Letter of invitation, you will need to submit your personal data and copy of your passport. You must have fulfilled your conference registration prior to requesting a letter of invitation.

The Organizing Committee is not able to contact or intervene with any Embassy or Consulate office on your behalf.
The issued letter of invitation is intended to assist participants who need to obtain a visa or permission to attend 22-ICOS, and is not an official invitation covering fees and/or any other expenses or financial support.
The Organizing Committee is not to be held responsible for the outcome of your Visa application.
In the unlikely event of cancellation, please do note that any individual registered for conference would be entitled for 90% refund of registration fee, if the written cancellation were notified to organizers on or before 15 May 2018.
A 75% refund of registration fee will be provided to any registered individual, if the written cancellation were notified to organizers on or before 01 July 2018.
A 50% refund of registration fee will be provided to any registered individual, if the written cancellation were notified to organizers on or before 10 August 2018.
However, we regret to inform you that any cancellations done after 10 August 2018 or for no-shows at the conference no refund of registration fee will be provided.
In the unlikely event that organizers shall deem it necessary to cancel the conference. The Organizers shall not be liable for reimbursing the cost of travel or accommodation arrangements made by individual delegates.
