A historical venue for the main events of the meeting & incentive industry for Florence and central Italy, Palazzo dei Congressi is hosted inside the 19th century Villa Vittoria.

This building boasts a prestigious congress hall, the Florence Auditorium, opened in 1969, with an overall capacity of 1,000 seats, and 920 sq m of annexed area available for exhibitions.

The various meeting halls for 50, 80 (Sala Onice) and 200 people (Sala Verde) are located on the Fourth Floor, all equipped with the latest and most advanced comforts and technical solutions, such as the 4th-generation Wi-Fi system, offering to all participants a safe and high-density connectivity, and a complete range of customised services.

HOW TO ARRIVE

ARRIVING BY PLANE

The International Florence Airport “Amerigo Vespucci” (IATA code – FLR) is only 4 km away from the Florence city centre and can be easily reached by taxi or with the Ataf/Sita ‘Vola in Bus’ shuttle service, connecting the airport to the main railway station of Santa Maria Novella in just 15-20 minutes. Thanks to the connections with Rome Fiumicino Airport, Milan Malpensa and the main European capitals, Florence is easily connected to the rest of the world. The main car rental companies are to be found inside the airport.

The International Airport of Pisa “Galileo Galilei” (IATA code- PSA) is located 80 km from the city centre of Florence and is connected to the Tuscan capital by train (every hour) and by Terravision bus (full flight coverage with 18 return journeys). In addition to scheduled flights, the Pisa Airport also hosts many low-cost companies

Following the upgrading of the railway connections with Bologna – which can now be reached in just 35 minutes -the Guglielmo Marconi Airport in Bologna (IATA code – BLQ) can also be easily reached from the city of Florence.

ARRIVING BY TRAIN

The main railway station of Santa Maria Novella is located two minutes away on foot from the entrance of the Fair & Congress Center, and from the central reception of Firenze Fiera, on the ground floor of Palazzo degli Affari. The other two railway stations (Rifredi and Campo di Marte) are at a ten-minute distance from the central railway Station of Santa Maria Novella, or connected to it through local trains and city buses.

ARRIVING BY CAR

Florence is well connected with the main Italian cities, thanks to the Italian motorway network, thus making it easier to get to the city centre, where the fair & congress center is located.
